Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice Regarding COVID-19 among Residents of Pesantren

Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) have a risk of COVID-19 transmission. The pesantren learning system is generally carried out collectively and the interaction between teachers students almost 24 hours. This community service aims to empower in efforts prevent control so that they become safe place from spread COVID-19. design this study was case on empowerment prevention Study located at traditional school (salafiah) Lebak Regency, Banten. target consists leader, (ustadz/ustadzah) (97 people), partners consist sub-district Public Health Center sub district Task Force. results showed controlling requires commitment leaders through establishment task force partnerships with relevant stakeholders. literacy needs be improved especially implementation health protocols information clean healthy living behavior. There were obstacles handling COVID-19, especially: social distancing, infrastructure, funding. recommended residents (teachers students) related literacy, it necessary make people aware everyone's responsibility. Government should pay serious attention as educational institutions where hours, becoming clusters
